i actually won on empire maker vs. funny cide in a matchup,but because i had to listen to andy beyer i had dynever against ten most wanted in a matchup and got killed on it

Had Empire $20 win and $10 ex bx 1-6. Nice payout for six-horse race. Have to admit though that EM was @ 7/2 at the time I placed my bets. Thought it was legalized stealing but the market is more efficient than that!!

I hit EM hard when he was at 7/2...if he had stayed at 7/2, I would have made the biggest bet of my life on a horse - unfortunately, he dropped down to something more reasonable like 2-1

I did make my biggest Horse Racing bet of my life on this horse race when it wa at 7-2....

Maybe that's why the line changed a tad...

I was upset to see it got down from 7-2 to 3-1, then 5-2, then 2-1 within 20 minutes!

A lot of sharp money went on him late!

Great race!
Empire proved who was the boss and wasn't going to let a eunuch win Belmont or the Triple Crown. I don't care for the owners though as from Saudi Arabia and a member of the royal family there.

Funny Cide is no MUDDER that's for sure and for some reason Santos lost control of the horse...or maybe he was holding it back? We'll never know for sure.

I'm not sure why he was trying to stay in front from the get go...that is a long race and the horse needs to have plenty of gas.

He knew it was a long race so WHY did he do it?
Like "oh yeah" he just made a mistake and ran her hot and fast from the gate so he would burn out quickly into 3rd place. If I were the owners I'd be PISSED!
